چکیده
Abstract Background Mucosal healing (MH) is considered an important treatment target for patients (pts) with moderate to severe Crohn’s disease (CD). The aim of this analysis was evaluate rates MH achieved during vedolizumab (VDZ) or other biologics in pts CD who underwent endoscopic assessments routine clinical practice a long-term observational study across number multinational centres. Methods Data were analysed from prospective, multicentre, post-authorization safety (PASS; NCT02674308, EUPAS6469) cohort CD. This secondary outcome evaluated initiating VDZ biologics, including infliximab, adalimumab and ustekinumab. Pts received under standard care decisions at the discretion treating physicians, could be modified changed without need withdraw study. For available endoscopy data, (simple score [SES-CD] ≤ 2) baseline 12-months compared biologic-naïve biologic-experienced treated versus biologics. Results had assessment. In those (VDZ n=76, n=239), 11.8% (9/76) 12.1% (29/239), respectively. After 12-months’ treatment, data month 12 n=48, n=108) 70.8% (34/48) VDZ-treated 60.2% (65/108) (Table 1). biologic prior entry (biologic-experienced) n=151, n=146), 11.9% (18/151) 16.4% (24/146), 51.1% (45/88) 31.4% (27/86) after months cohorts, Conclusion These real-world show that effective achieving MH, particularly as first-line also pts.

Clinical Study of the Relation between Mucosal Healing and Long-Term Outcomes in Ulcerative Colitis
Background and Objectives. Mucosal healing (MH) is considered an important therapeutic goal in ulcerative colitis (UC). We evaluate the severity of intestinal inflammation and clarify the relation between MH and long-term outcomes. Methods. The study group comprised 38 patients with UC in clinical remission on total colonoscopy who were followed up for at least 5 years. Clinical remission was d...

Introduction: Heart valve disease in pediatricsis an increasing global concern, especially in developing countries. This study aims to determine the clinical outcomes of pulmonary valve replacement (PVR) surgery in pediatrics. Methods: The authors retrospectively identified all pediatrics undergoing PVR surgery at Imam Reza hospital (Mashhad, Iran) between 2000 and 2020. Their medical records...

BACKGROUND Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is the most common digestive disease, affecting one third of the world's population. The minimally invasive endoscopic Stretta procedure is being increasingly used as an alternative strategy to manage refractory GERD. However, long-term benefits of this procedure have to be further evaluated in clinical settings. This prospective observational s...
متن کاملEvaluation and long-term outcomes of the different modalities used in colonic endoscopic mucosal resection
Endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) has been used in western countries to remove colonic polyps for at least the last two decades. Significant experience has been accumulated and the efficacy of the method has recently been evaluated in a large meta-analysis. A number of variations to modify the technique, including knife-assisted, cap-assisted, ligation devices, and underwater EMR, have been de...
